Howell's Pumpkin Patch offers fun and interesting sights and activities for the whole family, whether it be racing through the Pumpkin Patch to find the perfect pumpkins, or strolling our beautiful rolling 15 acres of flowers and touring the upper floor of our 1910 Barn, where the flowers are dried for Howell's Dried Florals.
Most of our fall guests begin their visit with an old fashioned wagon ride up to the Pumpkin Patch
and Corn Maze, many stopping to marvel at the power of these antique tractors. Most will start with the Corn Maze (it's tough to run through this challenging maze carrying your pumpkins!).
Then each member of the family begins the difficult process of selecting the perfect pumpkin--we have all sizes, shapes and colors to choose from! The wagons will bring you and your family back over to the barn and greenhouse when you're done. You pay only $3.50 for the round trip wagon ride, plus the cost of your pumpkins.
Round up the kids for a great day in our Kiddie Korral, with all kinds of fun farm activities, starting with a variety of friendly farm animals—goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and our very special Bunny Farm, where the kids can interact with the rabbits. Everyone
also seem to really enjoy watching the goats navigate up a walkway to their tower high overhead.
Kids can "swim" and play in our special Corn Bin play box, climb the kid-sized haystacks, run through the straw bale maze, and explore our playground and giant tube slide. Two big favorites are the Pedal Tractors, and the fascinating Wiggle Cars that are propelled by the one thing every kid enjoys—wiggle power! The Kiddie Korral is $3.50 per child, children under age 2 and adults are free.
Stop by the Greenhouse Cafe for some of your favorite fall treats. We have a variety of snacks during the week, along with a full menu on weekends-homemade ice cream, chips, hot dogs, candy and other favorite treats.
We have a great selection of spooky Halloween items in our Gift Shop, perfect to dress up your home for this fun fall season. And as you'll quickly see, the
Gift Shop is stuffed to the rafters with fascinating gifts, dried floral arrangements, and keepsakes. We invite you to tour the upstairs of this historic, 40 foot by 95 foot, 1910 Barn, where you'll discover long chains of gorgeous flowers hanging to dry for our dried floral business.
There's lots more to see and discover at Howell's. We have approximately 15 acres of beautiful flowers growing during the year, along with asparagus, potted flowers, hanging baskets, and other plants sold throughout the season. The farm is open to the public year round, but you'll truly love the extra fun of our exciting fall season!
