Fall is a magical time of the year, especially at Howell's Pumpkin Patch, located just 25 miles south of Des Moines off I-35. Here, the fall colors find their full glory amid pumpkins of all sizes and colors, beautiful mums and asters, fresh bittersweet, Indian Corn, corn stalks, decorative squash, gourds, antique farm machinery and Howell's huge selection of dried florals and seasonal decorations.

Our fleet of antique tractors are making continuous rounds out to the Corn Maze and the Pumpkin Patch, so plan on the whole family Our fleet of antique tractors adds to the fun of your fall wagon ride at Howell's Dried Florals, Greenhouse, Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, in Cumming, Iowa, just south of Des Moines. climbing aboard the wagons for a country ride, a chance to explore our twisting and winding maze, and to then pick out the perfect pumpkins for each member of the family. The wagon ride, including your visit to It's all about family, and the kids, Howell's Dried Florals, Greenhouse, Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, in Cumming, Iowa, just south of Des Moines. Don't forget your camera! the Pumpkin Patch and the Corn Maze, is only $3.50 per person (under 2 free), plus the cost of your pumpkins if you choose to purchase them.

Come see our friendly Barn Yard, where kids can see live farm animals including goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens. We also have a Bunny Farm where children can pet the rabbits. Over in the Kiddie Korral, we have a special farm playground with pedal tractors, wiggle cars, hay stacks to climb on, a straw bale maze, the corn box, a giant slide, and many other activities. The Kiddie Korral is $3.50 per child, children under 2 and adults are free.

If you need something spooky to add to your Halloween decor, come see our extensive Gift Shop, packed to the rafters with scary stuff and super fall decorations. This is the home of Howell's Dried Florals and Greenhouse, where you'll find a huge selection of seasonal decorating ideas. Visit the upstairs of this 1910 barn to see the flowers drying. Be sure, while you are here, you try our homemade ice cream, hot dogs, chips, candy, drinks and other snacks!
